Keaton Beach Marina

I love fishing at Keaton Beach Florida near the Keaton Beach Marina. My favorite spot is out by the north bird rack. This is where I go when any of the other fishing spots aren't working for me. It boosts my confidence back up. lol I mostly catch only shorts near the bird rack, but at least I am catching something.

You have to know when the tide is coming in and when the tide is going out as this will help you get an approximate time when the Speckled Seatrout come into feed on the shrimp. I have found that you want to be fishing when the water is moving for some reason or they won't bite as much.

The marina allows you to pay to store your boat in a secure location which I love, because I don't have to haul that big flats boat up and down the road wasting gas.

If you want a good place to fish, then I highly recommend Keaton Beach Florida and fish near the Keaton Beach Marina and you should be fine.

October was a really good month to go fishing as the water was finally cooling off and the cool breeze from the ocean felt really nice as well. They have a fishing tournament coming up in November.
